One-on-One Technology Help
The library has volunteers and staff that are available for one-on-one technology help for Sun City West Rec Center Members. One-on-One tech help is free for Sun City West Rec Center Members.
Registration for one-on-one tech help is required as space is limited. Register for a one-on-one in the Data Resource Center or by calling 623-544-6644.
Library volunteers and staff can provide one-on-one tech help with:
- General assistance and instruction with Apple devices, Android devices, and Kindles
- General instruction on widely used programs/applications (i.e. email, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc)
- General help downloading apps
- Downloading the library's digital items app, Libby and downloading eBooks and eAudiobooks.
- Basic troubleshooting of Apple, Android, and Kindle devices
Library volunteers and staff cannot provide one-on-one tech help with:
- Computer viruses
- Malware, spyware, or other malicious app removal or remediation
- Fixing, restoring, or repairing a broken or infected device, app, or email account
- Hardware repair
- Operating system repair or re-installation
- Setting up a new smartphone
- Filling out online forms
- Cannot provide medical, legal, and business advice or opinions
